    The shining orb
    Sleeps behind grey curtains
    Heaven's tears
    Fall through the darkened sky
    Icy wind
    Nearly blowing me off my feet

    A winter's storm

    Voices cry
    I do not hear
    For secret whispers
    Draw me near

    A winter's storm

    I struggle on
    Clashing winds all around
    Heaven's tears
    Speckle my staining gown
    Vines enlace
    Tripping me by my dragging feet

    A winter's storm

    Pained emotion
    Chokes my heart
    I beg repentance
    "I'll do my part!"

    A breaking storm

    The shining orb
    Awakens and warms again
    Heavens joy
    Spreads throughout the azure sky
    A balmy breeze
    Tosses my hair about my face
